We are seeking a passionate and skilled Social Media and Donor Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us expand our outreach and engagement through various digital platforms.
Job Description:
As the Social Media and Donor Acquisition Specialist, you will manage all our social media accounts and be responsible for creating and posting approved content across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will also oversee website updates and create and send email campaigns twice a week using Mailchimp. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Shalom House’s social media accounts, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create, curate, and post engaging content that aligns with our mission and values.
Oversee website updates to ensure content is current and relevant.
Develop and execute email campaigns twice a week to engage donors and supporters.
Run Meta ads and analyze their performance, providing weekly executive summary reports on results and ongoing projects.
Curate content into well-designed resources, such as one-pagers explaining Jewish holidays and how Christians can participate.
Perform miscellaneous executive administrative tasks as needed to support the nonprofit’s initiatives.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in donor acquisition strategies and community engagement.
Strong graphic design skills, with proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Deep understanding and faith in Christianity, with a preference for candidates who possess a strong understanding of the Jewish roots of Christianity.
Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
