Alpha Centauri Records books national tours for rock and alternative artists, and manages the band Makes My Blood Dance—a NYC-based Dance/Metal/Goth act known for high-energy performances and theatrical, dance-driven music videos.

Role Summary
We’re looking for a part-time assistant to support social media and admin tasks for Makes My Blood Dance and Alpha Centauri Records.

Key Responsibilities
-Post 1–2 times/week on Makes My Blood Dance social channels (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram)
-Post 1–2 times/week across Alpha Centauri Records accounts (1 Facebook + 4 Instagram accounts)
-Use tools like ---------- to schedule posts and optimize thumbnails
-Create and manage event pages and ticket links (BandsInTown, Eventbrite, Facebook) for ~60 tour dates/year
-Update google sheets and documents to support all booking/marketing operations
-Follow up with venues and support acts to confirm they’ve received and posted promotional materials

What We’re Looking For
-Passion for music and marketing, especially in rock/alternative genres
-Strong written communication and English skills
-Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through

Bonus Skills
-Expertise with graphic design skills in Photoshop, Capcut, etc
-Expertise with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify.
