PRODUCT SOURCING AGENT

We’re looking for an experienced Product Sourcing Agent for our e-commerce business. You will be in full charge of our company’s sourcing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong, functional relationships with key suppliers.
• Collects all info and speaks to the suppliers
• Identify, select, review and qualify supplier.
• Works closely with Chinese sourcing agent to give product requirements and needs to find best suppliers
• Works on Alibaba.com to compare and scope manufacturers for desired products
• Negotiate with supplier to ensure the client is receiving the best value.
• Implements plans to assure orders meet specified quality
• Build strong relationships with internal operations team to understand and respond to business needs and priorities.
• Ability to display initiative in sharing of information and updating information timely

Qualifications:
• At least 1 year experience in product sourcing (amazon product sourcing experience preferred, Alibaba.com experience an asset)
• Excellent verbal and written communication in ENGLIGH language.
• Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
• Good attention to detail
• Strong quantitative skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Can Work under pressure with less supervision
• Excellent Inter-personal skills, organization skills and strong analytical ability
• Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications especially Excel and Word.
