Job Description:
We are seeking a top-notch Front-end Next.js Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for translating design mockups into fully functioning web applications while working closely alongside our strategy, design, seo and digital marketing departments to produce high quality, fast and functioning headless CMS websites. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important.

Requirements:
Proficiency in English
You have 3+years of experience in delivering full stack solutions. Ideally, you have a portfolio to share, or code snippets that can highlight some of your expertise
Minimum 2 years of content management system application development and maintenance experience
Demonstrate expertise in Next.js, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful APIs

Responsibilities:
You will take leadership in driving projects from a blank slate to completion. You’ll be in the weeds independently as a developer, and also need to provide guidance to more junior developers if they are assisting on the project
Estimating work for a project and taking specs and turning into clearly defined, executable tasks
Building reusable cross platform components and front-end libraries for future use
Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance and usability across a vast array of web-capable devices, browsers, and network speeds
Write functional requirement documents and guides
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Skills:
Advanced knowledge and application of Next.js framework and its core principles
Advanced experience developing websites with WordPress CMS (creating and using custom themes)
Advanced proficiency in Javascript, HTML5, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS)
Advanced understanding of RESTful APIs
Experience with programming languages such as TypeScript
Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR), client-side rendering (CSR), and static site generation (SSG)
Understanding of version control systems (git, Github, Bitbucket, Sourcetree) Knowledge with cloud platforms and deployment, such as Vercel
Familiarity with design systems, such as Figma
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively within a team environment



Nice To Haves:
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Understanding of WCAG accessibility compliance. Ability to implement accessibility standards as well as audit existing websites
Quality Assurance experience with testing & bug reporting tools, such as Bugherd
Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools (CI/CD)
Experience with productivity software, such as Clickup, Basecamp, or Jira
Consistent experience with UX and UI practices for websites
Knowledge of SEO principles
Shopify Ecommerce understanding and experience
