JOB OVERVIEW

Job Posting: Digital Marketing Operator (Music Industry – VA Role)

Position: Full-Time Virtual Assistant – Digital Marketing Operator
Hours: 4-8 hours/day, 5 days/week (~40-80 hrs/month)
Salary Range: $600–$900/month (depending on experience)
Location: Remote (Philippines preferred for OnlineJobs.ph)

About the Role

We are building the Blacklist Union (BLU) Fan Zone — a digital ecosystem for a Los Angeles–based hard rock/metal band with international reach. We need a highly skilled Digital Marketing Operator (VA) to run the daily machine: content editing, posting, outreach, fan engagement, and reporting.

You will execute the system inside HighLevel CRM, Google Drive, and social platforms. The artist, strategist, and community director will provide vision and anchor content; you will handle all the heavy lifting to make sure the machine runs every single day.

This is a potential long-term role with the potential to expand into working with multiple artists under our umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

Content Clipping & Scheduling
Edit anchor content (podcast, Q&A, fan clips) into short-form videos.
Schedule daily posts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
Maintain content calendar in Google Sheets.

HighLevel CRM & Funnels

Build and update landing pages for fan sign-ups, contests, gig announcements, and merch drops.
Maintain pipelines for Fans, Industry Contacts, Vendors.
Tag and segment fans by behavior (sign-ups, merch buyers, fan club).

Outreach & Research

Use provided industry directories to send 10–15 personalized outreach emails/day (blogs, podcasts, playlists).
Track responses in CRM pipeline.
Research new opportunities for fanbase and industry growth.

Email
& SMS Campaigns

Set up and send weekly email newsletters and gig announcements.
Manage SMS blasts for special events or merch drops.

Reporting & Analytics

End each day with a Daily Update (tasks completed, metrics logged, issues flagged).
Prepare a Weekly Report (Fridays) covering content performance, outreach progress, fan growth, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a VA or digital marketing assistant (preferably in music, entertainment, or creative industries).
Comfortable with tools: HighLevel CRM, Google Drive/Sheets, Buffer/Later (or similar scheduling tools), Canva, CapCut or similar video editor.
Strong written English (for email outreach + fan communication).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent.
Able to work independently and report clearly.

Team Structure

Chris (Strategic Architect): Provides weekly direction and anchor content.
Allison (Community Director): Reviews posts, curates fan stories, approves outreach tone.
VA (You): Run the machine daily — content, outreach, CRM, campaigns, reporting.

Why This Role Matters

We’re building something unique: a fan-driven rock ecosystem that blends mythology, recovery storytelling, and heavy music culture. You will be at the center of this system, turning strategy and content into daily execution that grows fans, press, and revenue.

How to Apply:

Send your CV/resume.

Provide 2–3 examples of social media posts, campaigns, or funnels you’ve managed.

Record a short Loom/video introducing yourself and describing your experience with CRM or digital marketing tasks.
