Bookkeeper Needed to Categorize Last Year’s Business Expenses

Description:
I’m looking for a detail-oriented individual to help categorize my business expenses from last year. This is a one-time project (not ongoing bookkeeping), ideal for someone with bookkeeping or accounting experience who is comfortable working with financial statements and receipts.

Scope of Work:

Review last year’s expenses from bank/credit card statements or spreadsheets.

Categorize transactions into standard expense categories (e.g., travel, meals, software, supplies, utilities, payroll, etc.)

Provide a clean, organized report of categorized expenses in Excel

Flag any unusual or unclear items for review

Requirements:

Experience with bookkeeping/accounting

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets]

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to complete project within 5 days
