Link Builder | Off-Page SEO | Local SEO

Hellamaid is a top-rated residential and commercial cleaning brand operating across Canada—from Toronto and Vancouver to Calgary and beyond. We’re now building out our off-page SEO team and looking for a Senior Link Builder to lead our local link acquisition strategy across major Canadian cities.

This is not your typical link-building role. We don’t want mass outreach, spammy directories, or spreadsheets full of weak links. We’re looking for a creative and strategic thinker who understands modern off-page SEO, builds real relationships, and earns high-quality, locally relevant backlinks that actually impact rankings and brand authority.

What You’ll Do:
1) Develop and own a local link-building strategy for our Canadian service pages
2) Acquire local, high-authority backlinks from news outlets, business associations, blogs, directories, universities, influencers, and sponsorships
3) Pitch guest posts and collaborate with local content creators
4) Reverse-engineer competitor backlink profiles using Ahrefs, Google search operators, and local SEO tools
5) Collaborate closely with our in-house SEO team

What You Bring:
- 5+ years of proven white-hat link building and off-page SEO experience
- A portfolio of real, high-quality links you’ve earned
- Expert-level use of tools like Ahrefs, BrightLocal, HARO, and outreach software
- Strong English writing and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and a community-building mindset
- Clear understanding of what moves rankings in 2025 and beyond

Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience earning links in the Canadian local SEO space
- Background in digital PR, influencer partnerships, or journalist outreach
- Understanding of E-E-A-T, brand trust, and current Google ranking factors
- Worked with home services or franchise-style businesses
