Job Title: Video Editor (Part-Time, up to 20 hrs/week)

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our growing team. This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours per week to start) with the opportunity to transition into a full-time, long-term role for the right candidate. You’ll play an essential role in keeping the business running smoothly, supporting the owner directly, and helping streamline daily operations.

Responsibilities

Edit 3–6 short-form videos per week (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

Match visuals to provided scripts and voiceovers

Add captions using brand-specific fonts

Adjust sound levels as needed

Ensure edits follow our existing content style (no flashy animations, overlays, or unnecessary effects)

Deliver high-quality, ready-to-publish videos on schedule

Collaborate in weekly (later bi-weekly) virtual meetings for alignment and feedback

Requirements

Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve (free version is acceptable)

Reliable high upload and download speeds for smooth file sharing

Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and flow

Attention to detail and consistency with brand guidelines

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Positive, self-motivated, and open to feedback

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience with Photoshop or graphic design

Familiarity with social media best practices for short-form content
