Expert video editor

I’m looking for a highly skilled and creative video editor to help bring social media content to life.

I will need 7 videos completed each week however two will be long form videos and the rest of the videos cut up and repurposed for instagram and tik tok etc . They all need to be edited and have effects but instagram and TikTok more heavily edited to grab instant attention.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for storytelling and pacing, and be able to make short-form videos pop with slick titles, smooth masking, trending CapCut-style effects, and engaging transitions.

Responsibilities:
*Edit 2x raw footage into polished, high-impact videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube . YouTube video must be 8 minutes long and then repurposed into engaging instagram and TikTok reels.
*Add slick, professional titles that grab attention and fit each platform’s style
*Use masking techniques, creative transitions, and CapCut-style effects to enhance storytelling
*Apply sound effects, music, and visual effects to boost engagement
*Repurpose long-form content into short, shareable clips when needed
*Stay on top of social media trends and editing styles to keep content fresh and relevant
*Collaborate closely with me to match brand tone and vision


Requirements:
Proven experience editing short-form social media videos (please share portfolio/examples)
Advanced skills in CapCut, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
Strong knowledge of masking, transitions, text animation, and dynamic storytelling
Ability to turn around projects quickly while maintaining high quality
Creative mindset with attention to detail and audience engagement
Reliable communication and willingness to collaborate

Preferred Experience:
Background in editing for personal brands, influencers, or social media marketing
Knowledge of viral content editing styles
