JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and clinically experienced professional to join our Australia-based team as an After-Hours Clinical Support & Rostering Coordinator. This role plays a vital part in maintaining seamless operations outside of standard business hours by providing immediate clinical guidance, managing urgent rostering needs, and ensuring continuity of care for clients.

Key Responsibilities

-Answer and triage after-hours phone calls from staff regarding client care, incidents, and medication (including PRN and insulin).

-Provide clinical guidance within scope of practice, escalating to senior management when necessary.

-Manage after-hours rostering by covering sick calls, no-shows, and urgent shift replacements.

-Accurately record and log incidents, prepare detailed after-hours handovers, and ensure compliance with organisational policies.

-Support staff with urgent queries, maintaining professional, calm, and effective communication at all times.


Qualifications & Skills

-Clinical background required; Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred, though other relevant experience will be considered.

-Strong understanding of PRN and insulin administration.

-Experience in rostering and scheduling coordination.

-Excellent phone communication, documentation, and decision-making skills.

-Proficient with phone systems, email, rostering software, and incident reporting tools.
