Basic Video Editor

VQ Media is searching for a driven video editor to join our team and work on one of our channels. This channel focuses on TV show compilations and ranked list content (Top 3, Top 5, etc.). As part of the role, you will be responsible not only for editing Shorts in a high-retention style (captions, zooms, transitions, etc.) but also for sourcing the best clips from the TV show episodes that fit our format.

Job Requirements:
-Strong understanding of the English Language.
-Proven editing experience with YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or Instagram Reels.
-Ability to source and cut clips from TV show episodes to match our ranked list format.
-Proficiency in editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.
-Strong sense of pacing, comedic timing, and audience retention strategies.
-Reliable and detail-oriented, able to consistently meet deadlines.
