Job Vacancy: Architect for 7-Floor Apartment Project (Kenya)

We are looking for a talented Architect to design a 7-storey apartment building on a 100 ft x 50 ft plot. The design should be modern, functional, and space-efficient.

Project Requirements:

Floors: 7 (Ground floor for parking, with dedicated access and circulation)

Units per Floor: 6 to 7 apartments

Apartment Type: 1-Bedroom apartments (designed for maximum use of space and comfort)

Lift/Elevator: Must be included in the design for easy accessibility

Staircase: Well-positioned for safety and convenience

Optimization: Proper layout to ensure maximum apartments per floor while maintaining natural lighting, ventilation, and circulation

Additional: Adequate provisions for water tanks, utility areas, and common spaces

Responsibilities:

Prepare floor plans, 3D renders, and detailed architectural drawings.

Create layouts that maximize usable space while keeping apartments practical and livable.

Provide cost-efficient design solutions suitable for the Kenyan construction environment.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Architect with proven experience in multi-storey residential projects.

Strong knowledge of space planning and parking optimization.

Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar).

Portfolio of relevant past projects is required.
