JOB OVERVIEW

The Production Manager (PM) is the liaison between Production and all other agency departments and serves as the project lead for all work that flows through the agency. Primary responsibilities include the execution of projects from inception to completion and delivery, managing outside vendors/contractors, defining scope of work and budget, creating project plans and timelines, and working in/updating the project management system.

This role is the consistent pulse within the agency. The PM must be strategic, organized, detailed, and a great communicator, remain calm under pressure, and can identify and solve problems as issues arise, keeping the entire team headed in the right direction to ensure that we deliver work that is on budget and completed on time.

Responsibilities:
Proactively guide projects through internal systems/teams.
Set due dates for various stages of job completion after consulting with Account Management and other departments for timing requirements of various jobs.
Set up and manage projects, schedules, and reports in Function Point.
Review daily workloads with creative, content and development teams, and adjust assignments as needed, making. sure that the appropriate talent is utilized, and workloads are evenly maintained.
Make sure each staff member knows the assignments that they need to complete and the due dates.
Adjust job schedules as needed.
Update all departments regarding any changes to the project schedule and current deadline status.
Expedite “rush” jobs in such a way that process does not obstruct the orderly flow of everyday work.
As with all members of the WT Digital team, the PM must follow the policies described in the employee handbook, attend all internal meetings, and always conduct themselves in a professional manner while contributing to a positive work environment.
Facilitate meetings between client and team member(s) when needed.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not an absolute requirement.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of the step-by-step details it takes to get work produced within an agency from start to finish.
Good to expert understanding/experience and involvement in a wide variety of media (digital, brand development, TV/video, CRM/Marketing Automation, traditional/print, social, etc.).
Ability to motivate and guide the team as needed to encourage problem-solving, positive energy and generate high-quality work.
Demonstration of excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams, both written and verbal.
Display of strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail.
A working knowledge of mainstream agency project management systems. (TeamWork)
Minimum 4+ years of relevant agency experience.
