Web Developer – Interactive Furniture Cost Estimator

We are an interior design firm looking for a skilled web developer to build an interactive furniture cost estimator for our website. The tool will allow potential clients to select furniture items, choose pricing categories, input quantities, and receive an instant budget estimate.

The ideal candidate will have experience in front-end development, JavaScript-based interactive calculators, and optionally back-end integration for dynamic pricing and form submissions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a responsive web page with a table-based calculator for furniture estimates.
- User selects a room (Living Room, Bedroom, Dining, etc.) from a dropdown or tab. The form dynamically loads the furniture items for that room. Optional: load a photo of the given room...for example, a photo of living room appears when living room is selected
- User selects a room size (small, medium, large, etc.) from a dropdown or tab. The form automatically
- User selects a pricing category ($, $$, $$$, $$$$) and will dynamically populate the pricing category below, but allows for adjustment.
- Enable real-time calculation of subtotals and total estimates.
- Capture user emails if users would like to download or have the total estimates emailed to them.
- Ask user if they would like to be contacted for a complimentary design consultation or an email detailed quote for our design service.
- Implement tracking feature to see which rooms gets the most traffic/usage

Requirements / Skills:
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) is a plus.
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, or Firebase).
- Ability to create interactive, real-time calculation features.
- Experience with responsive design and UX/UI best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills for understanding project requirements.
- Experience with WordPress or Webflow integration.
- Knowledge of PDF generation and emailing forms from the web page.
