JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary

The Social Media & Marketing VA is responsible for AIM’s external presence, including social media content, email advertisements, event promotion, and website updates. This role directly supports AIM’s growth objectives by increasing brand visibility, engaging with audiences, and generating leads for AIM’s programs and services.

Business Objectives for Growth
Build AIM’s online presence across social platforms.
Drive traffic to AIM’s programs and testing services.
Enhance visibility of AIM events, fundraisers, and training programs.
Support interpreter recruitment and retention through creative digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Create, schedule, and manage social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
Develop and distribute weekly email advertisements/newsletters.
Plan and support promotion of social/community events.
Update AIM’s website regularly with program announcements, event details, and advertising materials.
Design promotional content in Canva (or similar platforms).
Track social media analytics and recommend strategies for audience growth.

Expectations

Post a minimum of 3–4 times weekly across AIM’s platforms.
Create and send 1 email advertisement/newsletter weekly.
Maintain an up-to-date and engaging website.
Provide a weekly marketing report summarizing campaigns, engagement, and reach.
Attend weekly meetings for task review and coordination.
Suggest and create new campaigns
