About Lau Method:
Lau Method is a marketing consultancy that blends creativity with systems. We help brands cut through the noise with strategies that actually work. That means setting up SOPs, tracking data, and creating systems that give businesses clarity and confidence.
The Role:
This role starts part-time (15 hours in the first week for an initial project) with the goal of moving into an ongoing part-time role and eventually full-time as we grow together. The first big focus is accounting and company management support — helping me set up the back end of the business so everything runs smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Accounting & Finance
-Organize company and personal accounting records
-Set up systems to track receipts, expenses, and payments
-Support with financial reporting and bookkeeping tasks
-Familiar with registering a business in Canada and filing taxes for Canadian companies
-Comfortable handling both business and personal finance with full discretion and confidentiality
-Company Management
-Register domains, set up business
-Manage files and keep business tools running smoothly
-Build templates (contracts, invoices, social media calendars, strategy docs)
-Marketing Support
-Research digital marketing tools and trends
-Assist with social media scheduling + light content support (captions, posting schedules)
-Bonus: design assets in Canva / Adobe / Photoshop
-Bonus: basic video editing
You Are:
-Experienced in accounting basics and comfortable with Canadian business setup/tax context
-Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable — you like keeping things on track
-Strong with written English (clear, professional, not robotic)
-Tech-comfortable — you can figure out how to set up systems and tools
-Bonus: creative skills (Photoshop, Adobe, Canva, video editing)
-Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive financial information
-Looking for long-term growth, not just short-term gigs
