Job Overview
I’m looking for a Virtual PA/VA with a strong English subject teaching background to support my work as a Secondary English teacher in an international school (Cambridge curriculum).
This is not a general VA job. The perfect candidate must:
-Have hands-on classroom teaching experience at Secondary level (Cambridge framework).
-Be experienced in using ManageBac effectively for planning, uploading, and tracking student progress.
-Understand Schemes of Work (SOW) and Cambridge syllabuses to help align lesson content with assessment objectives.
Your role will help me stay focused on teaching while you handle the planning, assessment prep, and admin that ensures students are consistently supported.
Responsibilities:
-Curate and organize lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge syllabus.
-Upload weekly plans and formative assessment updates on ManageBac.
-Draft fortnightly assessment papers for each grade level.
-Prepare differentiated tasks for extension or remediation.
-Design clear and engaging lesson slides/worksheets (PowerPoint/Canva).
-Draft structured parent feedback reports using my preferred format/tone.
-Meet with me online 3 times weekly (after 5:30 PM Beijing Time) for updates.
Qualifications
-Proven teaching experience in Cambridge Secondary English.
-Must have used ManageBac for planning and student progress tracking.
-Strong knowledge of Cambridge SOW, syllabus, and assessment objectives.
-Fluent in English (C1 or higher).
-Strong knowledge of subject codes: 0876, 0500, 0510 and A/AS level English
-Skilled in Canva & PowerPoint for professional learning materials.
-Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication.
