About the role
We need a reliable, detail-oriented Xero bookkeeper to reconcile 5–10 transactions/day (will grow), set up clean tagging, and keep our books audit-ready. You’ll start with one US LLC and expand to more entities over the next months.

Core responsibilities
Daily bank feed reconciliation in Xero (20–30 mins/day to start).
Set up and maintain Tracking Categories to separate ECI vs Non-ECI and by business line (e.g., TikTok Shop, Mentorships, Agency, Dropshipping).
Create and refine Bank Rules (e.g., TikTok/Stripe/Shopify payouts, 3PL, merchant fees).
Record merchant fees, COGS, refunds/chargebacks; attach backup (statements, settlement reports).
Month-end: P&L by tracking, fix uncoded items, and post simple allocation journals for shared costs (ads/software) using agreed percentages.
Maintain a tidy chart of accounts (Sales, Merchant Fees, COGS, Shipping, 3PL, etc.).
Prepare a short weekly summary (what was reconciled, open questions).
Nice to have
Experience with Shopify/TikTok Shop/Stripe/Amazon FBA/3PL statements.
Basic spreadsheet skills (Excell) for allocations.
Prior work splitting U.S. ECI vs Non-ECI is a plus (we’ll provide rules).

Xero, Teams, Excel, Onedrive.
Hours & overlap
Daily check-in window (5–10 min) with 1–2 hours/week total to start.
Light overlap with Gulf Standard Time (Asia/Dubai) preferred.

Increases as transactions/entities grow; performance bonuses available.
