I'm seeking a very creative video editor to transform pre-recorded voiceover scripts into high-retention, entertaining YouTube videos focused on celebrity news and scandals. I provide everything you need upfront:

- High-quality voiceovers typical runtime ~14-16 minutes per video).
- References and source materials (links to articles, social media posts, news clips, etc.) for pulling visuals.

Your role: Edit these into polished, engaging videos optimized for YouTube. Prioritize high viewer retention with:
- Creativity!
- Knows the importance of the Introduction portion - the most important part of the video.
- Dynamic B-roll (e.g., news footage, social media clips – sourced from provided references or public/fair-use content).
- Text overlays, effects, and transitions to keep it fun and fast-paced.
- Background music (royalty-free), sound effects, and some subtitles or big text transitions for highlight.

This starts as a one-time project, but with strong performance (high views/retention), it could lead to ongoing gigs. We'll begin with time-sensitive celebrity news, then expand to evergreen topics or pop culture deep dives.

Key: Fast turnaround is crucial – 1-2 days for the first draft after receiving files, as celebrity news needs to stay fresh and trending.
You will receive 3-5 worth of video files per week.

Requirements:

- Experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut).
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices: Retention strategies, pacing, SEO-optimized edits.
- Skill in ethically sourcing/editing fair-use clips from references.
- Creative touch to make topics pop with humor and visuals without overkill.
- Reliable with tight deadlines (1-2 days per video).
- Strong English skills; Tagalog helpful for local context.
- Motion Graphics: Nice to have but not necessary for now.

Compensation:

Fixed rate: 15$ per video. Will be increased after 3 months for consistently working with me.
