JOB OVERVIEW

About Us

[vrsn] is a Hong Kong-based footwear brand redefining what pain-relief shoes can be: functional, stylish, and built for everyday life. After a [successful Kickstarter launch]( ---------- ) in 2024, we’re scaling our eCommerce business globally at [vrsn.co]( ---------- ).

The Role

We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Designer to create high-performing creative for our paid and owned channels — including static ads for Meta and assets for email campaigns. This is a performance-first design role: your work should be visually compelling but also optimized for clicks, conversions, and revenue. Initially a part-time role, this position may grow into a full-time role if it’s a strong fit for both sides.

What You’ll Do

- Design static ads for Meta and other paid channels with a direct-response focus (scroll-stopping visuals, bold CTAs, clean layouts)
- Create email assets (campaign banners, headers, modules) that are optimized for engagement and conversion
- Translate campaign ideas and briefs into visually compelling creative that fits within brand guidelines
- Produce multiple creative variants for testing (ad formats, layouts, messaging emphasis)
- Collaborate closely with the Performance Creative Strategist and Email Marketing Specialist to ensure creative aligns with campaign objectives
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of experience as a graphic or marketing designer, ideally for DTC/eCommerce brands or agencies
- Strong portfolio of performance creative (ads, email assets, campaign visuals)
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent)
- Comfortable creating assets optimized for direct response: clarity, hierarchy, CTAs
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage quick-turn creative needs

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with performance marketing metrics (CTR, ROAS, conversions) and how they inform creative
- Experience designing for multiple channels (Meta, Google Display, etc.)
- Motion/animation skills for lightweight GIFs or animated ad variants
- Conversion-centric UI/UX web design experience (eCommerce site pages, landing pages, CRO mindset)

To Apply

Please share:

- A portfolio showcasing ad creative and email assets you’ve designed for eCommerce or performance campaigns
- A short note on how you approach designing for conversion vs. pure aesthetics
