???? Test Task Brief: Rap Video Editor Trial
Objective

Create 1 short vertical video (20–30 seconds) based on my raw rap footage, following my style guide. This test will evaluate:

Manual subtitle syncing (English + Mandarin provided).

Rap pacing awareness.

Use of effects (zooms, speed ramps, glitches).

Basic 360 keyframing (if raw provided includes Insta360).

Optional: assembling 1–2 Chibi J poses with captions.

What I’ll Provide

Raw Footage (20–30s clip)

Either a short rap cover performance (can be skate POV or indoor).

Lyrics Doc (English + Mandarin, line by line).

Example:

Breaking the chains (????)
Rising from the pain (??????)
I fight with the fire (??????)
Never bound again (??????)


Chibi J Poses (PNG pack) – 2 static poses for this test (pointing + nodding).

Expected Deliverable

1 vertical video (9:16, 1080x1920, 60fps).

Length: ~20–30s.

Subtitles styled: white default, yellow highlights for impact words.

At least 1–2 CapCut effects (zoom, speed ramp, glitch).

If Insta360 footage: apply at least 1 keyframe swing or zoom.

Insert Chibi J pose once with matching caption (raw stop-motion, no smooth animation needed).

Evaluation Criteria

Accuracy of subtitle syncing.

Flow/rhythm of edits with beat.

Ability to follow style rules (minimal, raw, underground).

Creativity in effects without overloading.

File delivery in correct format (ready for TikTok/IG/YouTube Shorts).

Compensation

This is a paid test (USD $10 for 1 video).

Selected editor will be offered a 3-month contract (30 videos, USD $450 total, milestones).
