JOB OVERVIEW

Description:
We are looking for a skilled video editor/creator who can produce direct-response style ad creatives specifically designed for the affiliate lead generation / Ecom space. These videos will be used on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and native ads, so they need to be scroll-stopping, fast-paced, and conversion-focused.


Key characteristics include:

-9:16 vertical format (Facebook/TikTok/Reels/Shorts) + 16:9 where needed
-Strong direct-response ad structure (hook, problem, benefit, CTA)
-Finding and integrating suitable b-roll/stock clips that fit the storyline
-Using/finding/creating viral-style visual hooks to capture attention in the first 3 seconds
-Mashing up multiple clips (stock, UGC, AI-generated, testimonials, news-style snippets) into one seamless ad
-Use of UGC-style clips (can be sourced or created with AI/actors) for relatability
-Incorporating AI-generated visuals or clips when relevant
-Text overlays, captions, emojis, kinetic typography to reinforce messaging
-Fast-paced cuts, pattern interrupts, zooms, sound effects for high retention
-Ads should look native and organic while still driving conversions

Responsibilities:
-Edit raw footage (we’ll provide) OR source relevant stock/UGC/AI-style content.
-Replicate and iterate on proven ad formats in affiliate/DR marketing.
-Create multiple variations of each ad (different hooks, angles, CTAs).
-Deliver ready-to-run ads optimized for each platform (Meta, TikTok, Native).

Requirements:
-Proven experience editing direct-response performance ads (not just cinematic edits).
-Portfolio showcasing UGC, mashup, or DR-style ads.
-Strong understanding of what makes videos convert (CTR, CVR, ROI), not just look good.
-Comfortable using stock libraries, internet, AI tools, and UGC sourcing to build creatives.
Ability to turn projects around quickly.

Bonus if you have:
-Experience in lead generation verticals.
-Familiarity with compliance in regulated niches (insurance, finance, health).
-A creative testing mindset (understanding hooks, offers, and angles).

Deliverables:
-20–30 sec or loonger ad creatives in 9:16 and 16:9.
-Multiple versions with different hooks/angles.
-Editable project files (Premiere/After Effects/CapCut).

Budget:
