We are committed to quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and client-first service, with a five-year plan to scale annual build volume. Our success is driven by strong technical expertise and effective project management, ensuring every home is delivered on time and to the highest standard.

The Project Manager role is central to this growth, responsible for leading residential construction projects from planning through handover while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are consistently achieved.

Daily logs, photos, and progress updates

Client communications, reporting, and documentation

All new hires must attend Buildertrend integration and training sessions to ensure consistent adoption of best-practice workflows.

Role Overview

The Project Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls all aspects of residential construction projects—from pre-construction through final turnover. You’ll manage client expectations, lead trade partners, and coordinate resources to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with clear documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and sequence work; develop construction schedules and milestones; monitor and adjust against baselines.

Prepare budgets and forecasts; track job costs and variances; proactively manage to targets and report impacts.

Lead procurement strategy; recommend awards; coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet schedule and quality standards.

Prepare and administer contracts; manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, ensuring approvals and proper documentation in Buildertrend.

Oversee multi-site activities; resolve bottlenecks; ensure daily logs, site photos, and updates are consistently recorded.

Implement quality control; conduct inspections; verify compliance with building codes, standards, and specifications.

Anticipate risks; develop mitigation strategies for delays, cost pressures, or scope changes; escalate critical decisions promptly.

Provide progress reports and client updates; run coordination meetings with clear agendas, decisions, and action tracking.

Lead close-out activities: punch lists, deficiency management, turnover packages, and as-built documentation in Buildertrend.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of project management experience in residential construction, with increasing responsibility.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced proficiency with Buildertrend for scheduling, budgeting, change orders, and reporting.

Strong leadership, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders (clients, trades, consultants, suppliers).

In-depth knowledge of Canadian residential construction practices, codes, cost control, contracts, and compliance.

Nice to Have

Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Gold Seal, LEED).

Experience delivering multiple custom home projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with HCRA vendor responsibilities and Ontario Building Code compliance.
