The Role
We are looking for an experienced Food Safety & Compliance Consultant to support Sun & Seed through the certification process and beyond. This is a remote-based role, where you will provide expert guidance through all stages of preparation, audit support, and ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Sun & Seed’s preparation for GFSI certification FSSC22000 .

Review, develop, and implement all required documentation, systems, and records.

Train and support the internal team on compliance requirements and best practices.

Provide remote support during the certification audit.

Assist with addressing auditor queries and ensuring corrective actions are completed.

Help maintain ongoing documentation and compliance systems once certification is achieved.

Advise management on continuous improvement and updates to food safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience preparing companies for GFSI certification - FSSC22000 essential.

Strong knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, traceability, and supplier approval.

Ability to create and manage robust documentation and compliance systems.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with our team.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to provide practical solutions.
