Remote Bookkeeper / Virtual assistant
We are a Canadian company looking for a superstar who has experience in book keeping with Xero and Quickbooks and also able to perform some virtual assistant tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Analyse balance sheet and control accounts
- Conduct profit and loss reviews
- Generate monthly financial statements and reports
- Prepare and reconcile GST returns
- Process payroll journals
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Maintain financial records and documentation
- Handle invoicing
- Reconcile intercompany transactions
- Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding invoices and statements
- Other virtual assistance tasks

- Create Social media posts using Canva and other AI tools
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping
- Advanced proficiency in Xero is essential
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Full-time availability
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Reliable, goal-oriented, and committed to excellence
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Professional, friendly, and collaborative team player
