We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in using Aurora Solar to create precise designs and compelling proposals for our clients. You'll play a crucial role in the sales process by turning a client's needs into a clear, efficient, and financially attractive solar solution.

Responsibilities

Design Solar Systems: Create accurate and professional 3D solar PV system designs for both residential and commercial projects using the Aurora Solar platform. This includes placing panels, selecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with all necessary codes.

Generate Quotes and Proposals: Use Aurora's financial tools to create detailed, client-facing proposals and quotes. You will incorporate costs, financing options, and projected energy savings to make a strong case for the system.

Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Perform precise shading analysis and energy production simulations in Aurora to provide clients with a realistic forecast of their system's performance.

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with our sales and engineering teams to refine designs, address technical questions, and support the sales process from start to finish.

Manage Client Information: Keep all design and client data organized within the software to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

Proven Expertise: You must have hands-on, practical experience using Aurora Solar for system design and quoting.

Strong Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of solar technology, including different types of panels, inverters, and batteries.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and accuracy in all design and financial work.

Excellent Communication: The ability to explain complex technical and financial information in a simple, understandable way.
