E-commerce and Social Media Assistant 28k/month + KPI

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Social Media Manager.

This is a full-time position. As our brand continues to grow, we are looking for someone who is passionate about marketing, results-driven, and eager to support our Social Media Manager in building and strengthening our digital presence.

About the Role

As the Assistant to the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest)

• Creating, planning, posting, and analysing content across all platforms

• Collaborating with creators and suppliers on campaigns

• Managing influencer and partnership opportunities

• Monitoring performance to achieve defined KPIs

2. Content Planning & Posting (Stories, Reels, Photos, Videos)

• Developing and maintaining a content calendar

• Executing themed campaigns aligned with brand goals

• Coordinating with the marketing team for consistent messaging

3. Engagement & Customer Service

• Responding promptly to customer service chats and enquiries

• Monitoring and engaging with comments across platforms

• Ensuring a positive and respectful online community

• Monitoring social media a few times outside of business hours to ensure responsiveness

4. Administrative & Support Tasks

• Carrying out general admin duties to support the Social Media Manager

• Maintaining accurate records of campaigns, collaborations, and performance reports

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a 100k+ business social media account

• Background or passion in furniture, interiors, or fashion

• Experience working with an Australian company is preferred

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Creative, proactive, and highly self-driven

• Willingness to learn independently and grow within the role

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with creators, suppliers, and customers

• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional monitoring outside standard business hours

• Reliable and fast internet connection, with access to Microsoft Teams
