Virtual Estimator - Industrial Coatings

The Role
As our Virtual Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analysing drawings and specifications, and ensuring our quotes are competitive and accurate. You’ll collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to gather information and ensure all pricing reflects current market conditions.

Key Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, and project details to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing.
Analyse labour, materials, and time requirements for each project.
Prepare and submit quotations in line with deadlines.
Maintain records of all estimates, pricing, and supporting documents.
Support the project team with budget tracking and cost analysis when required.

About You
Coatings and or Passive Fire experience will be highly regarded
Proven experience as an estimator (preferably in coatings, construction, or a related trade).
Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
