Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing professional assistance via phone,
Conduct client intake interviews, collect essential personal and financial details, and prepare for attorney consultations.
Draft, proofread, and organize estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives under attorney supervision.
Maintain and organize both physical and electronic client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.
Track case progress, deadlines, and court or administrative requirements.
Coordinate with financial institutions, real estate offices, and other third parties involved in estate planning matters.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule client signings, and prepare estate plan delivery packages.
Conduct preliminary legal research to assist attorneys and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
Assist with educational events, seminars, and webinars, offering Spanish interpretation when needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a law firm, preferably in estate planning, probate, or related practice areas.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; professional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management software.
Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality.
