a) Position overview:

1. Help to define the workflows and craft the user interface for a suite of consoles and portals, including those used by companies and individuals that work in the logistic, transportation and emergency response industries.

b) Top Responsibilities:

1. Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, wire frames, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
2. Assess and evaluate the usability of new and existing products
3. Make constructive suggestions for improvements
4. Contribute as needed in other appropriate ways, depending on workload (And subject to the set / agreed work hour limit)

c) Required Qualifications:

1. Ideally 2-5 years of experience in a design role.
2. Solid academic background in UX design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
3. Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces for complex data and workflows, enterprise tool experience preferred.
4. Prototyping skills (write code or use prototyping tools).
5. Strong visual design sense and able to apply and adapt Material Design standards.
6. Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
7. Basic UX research skills (interview, observation, light lab testing).
8. Proficiency with Sketch / Figma / Adobe Experience Design / etc (design software) required.

d) Nice to Haves:

1. Basic prototyping skills
2. Strong Technical skills
3. CSS, HTML and JavaScript experience
4. UI and interaction design experience

e) Client Description:

1. An international technology company specialising in Internet-related services and products.
2. Work can be for internal or external consumption.

f) Salary Payment:

1. We are looking for a part-time role at the moment (10-20 hours per week), but when we get to know each other better, and prove a good fit, this could become full time (40 hours per week).
2. We are looking at this stage for an hourly rate of USD 4.50-5.00 depending on experience.
3. Once past the 3 month probation period we will pay contributions (cash equivalent) to the Philippines insurance fund.
4. The salary includes a 13th month bonus in common with Philippine norms.
5. There is scope for supplemental bonuses for exceptional performers, and, salary will increments will be considered based on annual performance review.
