Shopify Expert VA Needed - Part-time/Gig with Long-Term Potential

Virtual Assistant – Shopify Expert (Part-Time / Project-Based)

We’re a growing online retailer looking for a skilled Shopify expert to join us on a part-time or gig basis. If you’re confident in both web design and Shopify functionality—from listings to shipping setup—you’ll have the chance to shape and grow with our brand.

What You’ll Do:

-Create and update product listings (images, descriptions, variants, pricing).
-Support with new collection launches (theme updates, homepage refreshes, collection pages).
-Handle Shopify back-end tasks including shipping profiles, rates, and inventory management.
-Make design improvements to the storefront (layout, banners, customer experience).
-Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
-Collaborate with our team in Slack and join Zoom calls (on-camera when needed).

What We’re Looking For:

-Strong, proven experience with Shopify (please share examples of stores you’ve worked on).
-Solid understanding of store design, theme editing, and conversion-focused layout.
-Knowledge of Shopify functions: shipping zones, discount codes, app integrations, etc.
-Detail-oriented, organized, and a clear communicator.
C-omfortable working independently but open to feedback and iteration.

Application Requirement: Please include links to at least two Shopify stores you’ve directly worked on, and specify your role in those projects.

Nice-to-Haves:

-Experience with design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or Figma).
-Familiarity with Shopify apps for cross-sell/upsell, reviews, or marketing integrations.

Role Details:
-Part-time / project-based (approx. 10–20 hours per week to start).
-Fully remote; flexible hours, but must be able to join scheduled Zoom calls (East Coast/EST USA time zone)

Pay: Competitive, based on experience (please include your desired hourly/project rate).

We start with a short paid test project to evaluate fit.
Strong performance may lead to a long-term, permanent role.
