Virtual Academic Success Coach

I am a full-time professional in healthcare (surgical assistant/technologist) pursuing my bachelor’s degree online while simultaneously running multiple business ventures. My schedule is demanding, and I need a dedicated Virtual Academic Coach & Assistant to help me succeed.

This role is not just about admin support, but about partnering with me in my academic journey. You will act as a tutor, study coach, and accountability partner, ensuring I stay on track, master challenging subjects (biology, chemistry, computer science, etc.), and complete assignments on time.

- Explain difficult course concepts in clear, simple terms (science and technical subjects in particular).
Assist with test prep and help create study strategies that work with my schedule.
- Develop concise summaries of lectures, readings, or assignments.
- Track all course assignments, quizzes, and deadlines in a calendar/dashboard.
- Build and maintain Anki flashcards or other study tools for long-term retention.
- Organize coursework into a clear weekly plan, making it easy to balance school with work.
- Provide weekly progress reports on assignments, grades, and study hours.
- Remind me proactively of upcoming deadlines.
- Suggest time-management improvements as needed.

Strong academic background (biology, chemistry, or related fields preferred).
Experience as a tutor, study coach, or academic mentor.
Skilled with productivity tools (Notion, Google Workspace, Anki, or similar).
Able to communicate clearly and directly—no fluff, no “beating around the bush.”
Comfortable working independently, managing both teaching and admin aspects.
Position Details
Remote / Virtual (work from anywhere).
Estimated commitment: 10–15 hours per week (may increase during exam periods).
Flexible scheduling, but must be consistent and reliable.
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with skillset in both tutoring + VA tasks).
