Full Time Web Developer / Programmer Needed Immediately

We are a fast growing Canadian website design company that creates website themes and plugins for small business, designers and individuals. We are currently a top website themes / design provider in our niche and we have an aggressive expansion strategy (which includes expanding into other related niches).

We are looking for a talented Full-Time Web Developer with a passion for programming and design to join our team. We seek to employ someone on a full time, long term basis and someone who share our vision to help us grow.

NOTE: This is a long term full time employment opportunity. This is not a short term project. Only serious candidates please.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following:

1) Has experiences with website development and design: between 1-3 years of relevant experiences

2) Takes directions and coaching well, and not afraid to ask questions.

3) A self-starter and a problem solver.

4) Keen to learn and potentially grow into other important roles within our growing organization

JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities entails:
- Working directly with the Co-Founder / Creative Director to create PHP and JQuery plugins and HTML / xHTML / HTML5 / CSS / CSS3 / JQuery website themes
- Converting PSD mock ups into HTML / xHTML / HTML5 / CSS / CSS3 / JQuery websites
- Create plug-ins for WYSIWYG platforms
- Website building and maintenance

Your Qualifications:
- University graduate in computer science, technology or any related discipline
- Minimum 1 full year of working experiences as web developer or programmer
- Must have advanced knowledge in XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JQuery
- Knowledge in PHP, Javascript, and AJAX will definitely be an advantage
- Must be familiar with WordPress

Successful candidates are expected to pass a qualification test which will lead to a full time position. There will also be a 1 month *paid* probation period in which we will evaluate you to assess whether you are a long term fit within our team. During the probation period, the successful candidate will be paid on a weekly basis.
