DAILY WORK
You'll be editing long-form videos like the above.

I expect my video editor to be obsessed with retention editing, with a focus on key metrics like:

Average Viewed Percentage

The first 30 seconds are critical, where we typically lose 30–50% of viewers, so you should be or become not good, but great at editing intros.

Every detail matters: pacing, cuts, captions, b-roll, and sound design should all serve the goal of maximizing watch time.

I also want you to build repeatable systems and workflows that speed up your own process while maintaining high quality.

Finally, creativity is essential. Not just in storytelling but also in leveraging AI tools to make your editing faster and better than the average editor.

NOTE:
- Editing software doesn't matter (although my preference is Adobe Premiere)
- I'm confident you'll like working with me, as I let you be very free and independent (although I'm demanding too)
