YouTube Video Editor (Long-Term, Full-Time or Part-Time)
About Us: I run a fast-growing YouTube channel in the parenting/mental health/education space, producing content similar in style and pacing to Ali Abdaal, Kati Morton, and other educational creators. Our videos are ~15 minutes long, with engaging edits, strong visual storytelling, and eye-catching thumbnails.

We are looking for a skilled video editor who can join our team long-term, take ownership of the editing workflow, and help us scale to 8–10 videos/month.

Responsibilities:
* Edit 2 long-form YouTube videos per week (?15 minutes each) in a style that keeps viewer retention high (snappy cuts, zooms, on-screen text, occasional b-roll).
* Add captions, b-roll, sound effects, and simple motion graphics as needed.
* Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips (TikTok/Reels/Shorts) is a bonus.
* Collaborate with me on improving storytelling, pacing, and viewer engagement.
* Maintain an organized file system and meet weekly deadlines.

Requirements
* Proven experience editing YouTube content (portfolio required).??
* Strong skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve.??
* Reliable internet connection and ability to work on tight deadlines.??
* Familiar with YouTube best practices (AVD, CTR, pacing, etc.).??
* Strong communication skills (comfortable with Slack, Trello, or similar tools).??

Nice-to-Haves
* Experience with After Effects or advanced motion graphics.??
* Ability to cut short-form vertical content for TikTok/Reels.??
* Understanding of YouTube SEO and retention analytics.??
