Social Media Graphic Designer (Canva Specialist)

About the Role:
Five One Nine is looking for a highly skilled Social Media Graphic Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll design compelling and effective graphics for social media across a wide range of clients and industries. With over 50+ active clients, we need someone who can balance creativity with consistency, producing work that is both on-brand and engaging.


What You’ll Do:
- Design 4–7 high-quality social media graphics per client per week
- Work from provided copy, design briefs, and brand guides to deliver content that aligns with the client's voice and style
- Ensure graphics are visually captivating, brand-consistent, and effective for social platforms
- Follow instructions carefully while also bringing creative ideas to the table
- Deliver projects on time and manage multiple client batches efficiently
- Collaborate with our internal team for feedback and revisions when needed

What We’re Looking For:
- Expert-level Canva skills, this is our primary design tool
- Strong understanding of social media design best practices (platform sizes, trends, engagement-focused visuals)
- Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A portfolio of past design work that demonstrates your creativity, consistency, and ability to design for different brands/styles
- Willingness to complete a design test as part of the hiring process

Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience working with agencies or multiple brands at once
- Familiarity with content scheduling platforms
- Knowledge of current design and social media trends
