ABOUT LAUNCH
Launch Digital is a growing digital marketing agency specialising in Google Ads, SEO, and WordPress. We’re process-driven, results-focused, and proud to deliver an exceptional client experience. We’re looking for a technically strong WordPress Developer to take ownership of our WordPress maintenance and support service, and assist on new web design projects.

THE ROLE
You’ll be the primary point of contact for our WordPress maintenance clients, managing the ---------- and ensuring all tasks are delivered on time, to spec, and within each client’s SLA. You’ll handle everything from small front-end changes to technical debugging and SEO fixes, as well as managing sites in ManageWP and supporting web design projects. The right candidate will be highly technical, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate clearly with clients in excellent English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
> Manage and respond to client support requests via the ---------- Assess requests against each client’s SLA and communicate clearly with clients about scope, timelines, and status updates.
> Perform WordPress development and maintenance tasks, including:
- Front-end and back-end development
- Working across all major page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Breakdance, etc.) as well as custom builds
- Debugging and troubleshooting WordPress errors
- Speed and performance optimisation
- Security and malware removal (bonus)
- Manage all client websites via ManageWP, including backups, updates, and monitoring.
- Implement and maintain on-page and technical SEO fixes (e.g. crawling issues, site architecture, meta data, schema).
- Configure and troubleshoot RankMath and Yoast SEO plugins.
> Work with analytics and tracking:
- GA4 and Google Tag Manager implementation
- Google Search Console (bonus)
> Support web design projects as needed:
- Assist with front-end styling and custom CSS/HTML
- Collaborate with designers on Adobe XD / Figma files (bonus).
- Follow internal processes and suggest improvements to systems where possible.
- Ensure all work is meticulously tested before delivery (no one will be quality checking your work).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
> 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
> Strong knowledge of front-end (HTML, CSS, responsive design) and back-end (WordPress core, plugins, themes).
> Experience with multiple page builders and custom themes.
> Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimising WordPress websites.
> Knowledge of PHP (bonus but not essential).
> Strong technical SEO knowledge, particularly with fixing technical issues.
> Experience with RankMath and Yoast SEO.
> Solid understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and (ideally) Google Search Console.
> Strong written and spoken English (must be comfortable communicating with clients directly).
> Detail-oriented and process-driven; able to deliver error-free work without supervision.
> Self-motivated with initiative to improve systems and processes.
> Experience with ---------- (bonus).
> Experience with malware removal and site recovery (bonus).
> Design tool knowledge (Adobe XD, Figma) is a bonus but not a requirement.
