Accounts Receivable & Payments Coordinator
(Remote - Full Time)
Location: Work from Home
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Australian business hours
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable & Payments Coordinator to join our accounting team remotely. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with numbers, and is confident in communicating with internal teams.
You’ll be responsible for key accounting tasks such as applying payments, reconciling transactions, managing refunds, and liaising with our sales team to ensure accurate financial records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Apply customer payments in Buz and Xero
Reconcile daily payments
Maintain and update internal tracking sheets
Process and manage refund requests
Communicate with sales representatives to clarify quote and payment details
Handle support tickets related to accounts receivable
Requirements:
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role
Solid understanding of Xero (experience with Buz is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Comfortable using spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
Clear English communication skills – both written and verbal
Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
Must be proactive, organised, and able to work independently
