JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast-growing ecommerce brand dedicated to creating high-performing, conversion-focused ad creatives. Our mission is to deliver video ads that not only capture attention but also drive measurable results. We’re looking for a Direct Response Video Editor to join our creative team and work closely with our Creative Strategist to turn ideas and raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-converting video ads.

Role Overview:
As our Direct Response Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing engaging, performance-driven video ads designed for paid social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). You’ll take creative direction and marketing insights from our strategist and translate them into compelling stories that maximize clicks, conversions, and ROAS. This role requires a deep understanding of direct response marketing, short-form content editing, and platform-specific best practices.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategist to execute ad concepts and creative briefs.

Edit raw footage into polished direct response video ads optimized for performance across multiple platforms.

Apply proven direct response editing techniques (strong hooks, fast cuts, captions, split screens, social proof, etc.) to maximize conversions.

Incorporate graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and music that enhance engagement.

Continuously A/B test different ad variations and iterate based on performance data.

Stay up to date with social media trends, editing styles, and direct response best practices.

Deliver videos on tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Requirements:

Proven experience editing direct response video ads for paid social (portfolio required).

Strong understanding of direct response marketing and storytelling that drives action.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar editing tools.

Experience editing short-form, high-paced ads (15–60s) optimized for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Ability to work collaboratively, accept feedback, and quickly iterate on creative.

Strong eye for pacing, timing, and attention-grabbing hooks.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have:

Experience with motion graphics or advanced animations.

Background in paid media or performance marketing.

Understanding of UGC-style editing and influencer content.
