Insurance and Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary
NESS Behavior is seeking an experienced Insurance and Credentialing Specialist to manage all aspects of our insurance relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring our clinical team providers is properly credentialed, our contracts are current, and our billing codes are up to date. This role is crucial for our financial health and requires a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Add new clinicians to our existing insurance contracts and monitor their credentialing status.

Review and maintain all insurance contracts to ensure we are in good standing.

Stay up-to-date with insurance panel updates, including changes to billing codes and policies.

Submit contract renewals and negotiate new contract rates to optimize revenue.

Manage ongoing provider attestations and required documentation.

Serve as a primary point of contact for insurance-related inquiries from the clinical team.

Qualifications
Proven experience in insurance credentialing and contracting within a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

A solid understanding of billing codes, insurance policies, and authorization processes.

The ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
