If you are a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant Deal Maker looking to support the full lifecycle of client transactions — from deal sourcing to closing — this role is for you. This individual will serve as a right hand to the Deal Maker, ensuring accountability across teams, providing oversight on key workflows, and stepping in where necessary to move deals forward. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills to keep complex transactions on pace and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the end-to-end deal process from sourcing to closing.
- Monitor deal flow progress and identify where teams may need additional support or follow-up to maintain
- Conduct audits and quality checks on team outputs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.

- Step into approval workflows as delegated to keep deliverables moving (e.g. valuation models, presentations).
- Support in approving valuations when clients enter the LOI phase.
- Coordinate with the Deal Team to manage the deal flow process and address any deal sourcing issues.
- Coordinate the deal execution process with the LOI Team and Closing team including pre and post LOI-signed processes, due diligence, and liaising with key stakeholders.
- Assist the closing process by maintaining checklists, confirming deliverables, and ensuring parties are aligned.
-Act as a problem solver/firefighter, helping unblock issues quickly.
Qualifications
- Strong background in finance, M&A, private equity, or investment banking (or a highly transferable skill set).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex deals at once.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with valuation models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally across senior executives, clients, investors, and tea
- High attention to detail with strong judgment and decision-making ability.
- A proactive self-starter comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
