Short-Form Video Editor for Social Media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

I’m a comedic content creator with 150,000+ engaged followers. My videos focus on Brazilian culture, travel, and humor from a gringo’s perspective — think funny memes, trending Reels, travel content, influencer content and quick, shareable storytelling.

I’m looking for a skilled and creative video editor who can bring ideas to life and help produce ~7 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Most videos are 15–60 seconds long, a mix of influencer-style edits, comedic memes, and engaging short-form storytelling.

This is a part-time role for now (~10–15 hours/week) but could grow into full-time as the account scales.

What You’ll Do
• Edit ~7 short-form videos per week (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Add captions, subtitles, and on-screen text where needed
• Source images, stock footage, or AI-generated visuals to elevate content
• Repurpose existing content into memes and trending formats
• Optimize videos for each platform’s best practices
• Collaborate on ideas and experiment with formats that drive engagement

Requirements
• Proven experience editing short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-engagement content
• Skilled at adding captions, memes, effects, transitions, and pacing
• Comfortable sourcing images and clips online or via AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, MidJourney, CapCut AI, Runway, etc.)
• Great sense of timing, humor, and storytelling for viral-style videos
• Strong English comprehension and communication skills
• Bonus (not required): Interest in Brazilian culture or Portuguese
