Accounting Professional Needed – QuickBooks to Wave Migration (2019–May 2025)

Looking for an experienced accounting professional to complete a one-time migration project: transferring of my company’s books from QuickBooks into Wave Accounting.

Project Details:
• Scope: QuickBooks (2019–May 2025) ? Wave
• Data to Migrate:
• ~2,550 transactions (already reconciled in QuickBooks)
• Invoices & customer data
• Payroll history (April 2020–May 2025)
• Chart of accounts (mapped to Wave equivalents)
• Note: All books have been reconciled in QuickBooks. The task is to transfer data and ensure Wave balances/reports match.
• One-time project (not ongoing bookkeeping)

Requirements:
• Strong background in accounting and bookkeeping
• Demonstrated experience migrating from QuickBooks to Wave
• Ability to map chart of accounts and confirm balances
• Familiarity with Wave’s invoicing, payroll, and reporting features
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills in English

Budget & Timeline:
• Budget: Maximum $900 USD total (fixed-price project)
• Estimated Hours: ~50–65 hours (based on reconciled data, invoices, payroll, and chart of accounts mapping)
• Timeline: Completion within 4–6 weeks once started
