Part-Time Substack Host Writer – First-Time Builders Community

We’re looking for a part-time Substack writer/host to create a newsletter for our growing community of first-time home builders. The goal is to deliver practical, engaging content that helps builders avoid mistakes, save money, and feel confident in their projects.

Responsibilities:

Write and publish 2 newsletters per week on Substack.
Cover topics like homebuilding tips, construction workflows, budgeting, and builder success stories.
Keep the tone friendly, clear, and builder-focused (no jargon).
Engage with our community through comments and discussions.
Track performance and suggest ways to grow readership.

Requirements

Strong writing skills and genuine love for writing.
Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, engaging way.
Experience with newsletters, blogs, or online communities (Substack experience a plus).
Interest in the construction / homebuilding industry (background in the field a big plus).
