Local SEO Specialist – (Fence Contracting Business)

We are seeking an experienced Local SEO Specialist to improve our Google search rankings and visibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in local SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, and be comfortable making website improvements on WordPress. This role can be part-time or full-time depending on availability, but our goal is to see measurable growth in leads and search rankings.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Optimize and manage Google Business Profile (GBP) to maximize visibility in local search.
-Conduct on-page SEO: keyword optimization, meta tags, headers, internal linking, content optimization.
-Conduct off-page SEO: local citations, link-building, outreach, and reputation management.
-Audit and improve website performance (WordPress knowledge a plus).
-Track rankings, website traffic, GBP metrics, and lead conversions.
-Provide reports showing results and improvements over time.

Qualifications:

-At-least 4-5 years of proven SEO experience, preferably with local businesses.
-Strong understanding of local search algorithms, Google Maps, and ranking factors.
-Experience with WordPress editing and website fixes is a plus.
-Ability to provide real, verifiable results from previous clients.
-Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
-Detail-oriented, results-driven, and up-to-date with current SEO trends.
