Part-Time VA / Customer Service

Hi, I’m Carla from Swordfish AI and Heartbeat AI.

We’re looking for a proactive virtual assistant / customer service rep to join our team. This role will start part-time, with the potential to grow into full-time as responsibilities expand.

What you’ll do:
• Manage tickets and chat daily using Freshdesk
• Triage incoming tickets (we get a lot of spam/phishing, so knowing how to sort them quickly is important)
• Respond to customer chat inquiries clearly and professionally
• Process opt-out requests (template provided, you just need to send them out)
• Ad hoc tasks to support the team as needed

What we’re looking for:
• Previous BPO / customer support experience (preferred)
• Comfortable using Freshdesk
• Familiar with ChatGPT for drafting/research support
• Proactive, resourceful, and a problem-solver who thinks ahead rather than waits for instructions

Role details:
• Part-time to start: 8am–1pm Eastern Time (5 hours daily, Monday to Friday)
• Compensation: $500/month to start
• Growth potential: Role can grow into full-time with pay increase as responsibilities evolve
