Mission
Own and grow a single flagship YouTube channel that blends expert educational content and compelling client stories to drive measurable leads for Sleep Science Academy. You will consolidate two existing channels into one thriving hub, create a consistent content engine, and turn viewers into subscribers and subscribers into clients.

Consistent weekly long form uploads plus regular Shorts and community activity
Rising performance across click through rate watch time and returning viewers
Clear lead tracking from YouTube to our website and CRM with visible pipeline impact
A friendly expert brand voice that makes viewers feel seen supported and motivated
Core responsibilities
Channel consolidation and relaunch
Audit both channels content analytics branding and audience
Choose the older channel with about eighteen thousand subscribers as the flagship then align branding with Sleep Science Academy
Build a migration plan for existing testimonial videos from the newer channel
Refresh or lightly re edit before uploading to the main channel to avoid duplicate content detection
Create themed compilation cuts of testimonials where helpful
Publish a clear announcement on both channels and via community posts that all new content will live on the flagship channel
Update channel art trailer about section links default upload settings end screens and cards
Content strategy and production workflow
Define three to five content pillars for search driven education for example insomnia coaching science of sleep routines recovery and environment
Create a ninety day editorial calendar
Long form weekly videos that answer real search intent
Three to seven Shorts per week that repurpose hooks facts and tips
Monthly live Q and A to deepen trust and gather FAQs for future videos
Develop scripts and outlines with strong hooks proof and clear calls to action
Oversee editing pacing pattern interrupts captions b roll and on screen graphics
Design high performing thumbnails and test variations
Maintain organized libraries for footage b roll music graphics and testimonial clips
SEO and discoverability
Perform keyword research and map topics to funnel stages awareness consideration decision
Optimize titles descriptions chapters tags and playlists
Implement strong internal linking with cards end screens and playlist paths that guide viewers from Shorts to long form to booking pages
Build series and playlists for bingeable viewing such as Start sleeping better in fourteen days or Science explained
Lead generation and conversion
Place clear calls to action in videos descriptions pinned comments and end screens
Use tracking links to attribute clicks from each video to the correct landing page and offer
Coordinate with our web and CRM to capture UTM data and report lead quality and close rate
Create simple lead magnets such as sleep checklist or mini
Analytics and continuous improvement
Own a weekly scorecard
Views impressions click through rate average view duration retention curves traffic sources subscriber gain return viewers landing page clicks leads and bookings
Run ongoing split tests for titles thumbnails hooks and format
Present monthly insights and action plans

Reply to comments highlight questions in future videos and post weekly community updates and polls
Ensure testimonial and claims language stays accurate ethical and aligned with platform rules
Maintain a warm helpful and encouraging voice that reflects our care for people who are struggling with sleep
Required experience
Proven growth of a YouTube channel from low to mid six figure monthly views with documented impact on leads or revenue
Hands on skill across strategy scripting editing thumbnail design SEO and analytics
Strong command of retention focused editing and storytelling for health education
Experience consolidating or relaunching channels and communicating change to subscribers
Comfort setting up tracking links analytics dashboards and simple funnel reporting
Excellent writing and on brand communication skills
Nice to have
Background in health wellness or patient education
On camera coaching and interview skills
Familiarity with live streaming workflows and community moderation
Tool stack you are fluent in
YouTube Studio and Advanced Analytics
Keyword tools such as TubeBuddy or vidIQ and Google Trends
Editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or CapCut
Design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express for thumbnails

Maintain weekly long form cadence and Shorts rhythm
Expand playlists and series paths to guide binge viewing
Two more live sessions and one collaboration or expert interview
Present conversion report that connects videos to leads and bookings
Propose next quarter roadmap with experiments and target metrics
Key performance indicators
Click through rate target six to ten percent on new uploads after two weeks
Average view duration target at least forty percent of video length
Return viewers up and to the right month over month
Weekly publish consistency one long form and three to seven Shorts
