Full-Stack Developer (Data Pipelines)

About the Project:
The mission is to modernize the critical tools used by their expert analysts who monitor and counter online threats. The current systems are outdated and inefficient, creating significant workflow challenges. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to build a new, secure, and scalable web application from the ground up. This platform will empower analysts to search, filter, and visualize data from various online sources, starting with Telegram and expanding to over ten other applications.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Develope. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to oversee, implement, and be accountable for the data pipelines that will power the entire platform. You will be responsible for ingesting, processing, and structuring data from numerous sources to make it searchable and useful for analysts.

This is more than just a coding role; you will be a key architect of the system's data foundation, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and secure. Do not apply if you are inexperienced with building these.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data ingestion pipelines using Node.js.
Integrate with various third-party APIs (starting with Telegram) to extract and process large volumes of data.
Collaborate closely with product strategists and UI/UX designers to understand analyst workflows and data needs.
Work with the front-end team to ensure seamless data flow to the Vue.js application.
Implement solutions for data transformation, cleaning, and enrichment, potentially leveraging AI tools.
Ensure the reliability, quality, and freshness of the data being processed.
Establish best practices for monitoring, error handling, and security within the data infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:
Node.js: Expert-level proficiency in building scalable back-end services and data processing applications.
Vue.js: Strong experience or familiarity with Vue.js for effective collaboration with the front-end team.
LangChain: Demonstrable experience or a strong, expressed interest in working with AI frameworks like LangChain for data enrichment and building intelligent agents.
Data Pipelines: Proven experience in designing and building data ingestion and processing pipelines.
API Integration: Extensive experience in working with and integrating various third-party RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of database systems (SQL or NoSQL).

Preferred Skills:
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with building secure, scalable applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Experience with real-time data streaming technologies.
A passion for mission-driven work and an interest in civil rights.

Project Conditions:
Availability: Must be available for 40 hours per week.
Timezone Overlap: Requires a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with New York working hours (9 am - 6 pm ET).
