About Us
We’re VAAS (Video as a Service), a U.S.-based video marketing company. We specialize in creating scroll-stopping content for brands, agencies, and creators. We’re now launching a new Daily Content Engine — turning long-form content (podcasts, webinars, YouTube videos) into daily short-form clips for social media.
We’re looking for talented, reliable editors who can identify the best
Speed is everything for this role. If you can’t consistently produce and export multiple clips per day, this position isn’t the right fit.
What You’ll Do
? Review long-form content (podcasts, interviews, webinars)
? Identify strong hooks and clip-worthy
? Edit them into short-form vertical videos (9:16) with:
? Burned-in captions
? Simple pop-ups, zooms, or highlights (when needed)
? Light branding (logos, lower-thirds)
? Deliver daily clips on time, ready to post
Requirements
? Strong experience editing short-form videos (TikTok/Reels/Shorts — must provide samples)
? Fast and efficient — able to turn around multiple clips per day
? Great editorial judgment — you know what will grab attention in the first 2–3 seconds
? Familiar with U.S. culture (humor, tone, trends, topics) — this is critical
? Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects a plus)
? Reliable internet (must handle file transfers via
? Good English communication skills
? Willingness to follow SOPs/templates and learn new tools (AI-assisted clipping)
Bonus Skills
? Understanding of social media trends (especially U.S. TikTok/Instagram)
? Experience working with international teams
