Job Post: Social Media Manager (Restaurant & Bar Clients)

About Us
We are a New York–based marketing agency that manages the online presence of multiple restaurants, cafés, and bars ranging from traditional Korean BBQ spots to high-end speakeasies. Our focus is on driving sales and foot traffic through smart social media strategies, influencer collaborations, and eye-catching design.

We are looking for a creative, food-savvy Social Media Manager who can help us build strong brand voices for our clients and produce content that connects with NYC’s dining scene.

Responsibilities
Manage and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for multiple restaurant/bar accounts.
Create promotional material (posts, reels, stories, ads) using Canva or Photoshop.
Write engaging captions and adapt tone to fit different client brands (e.g., casual BBQ vs. upscale cocktail lounge).
Monitor comments/DMs and engage with customers to encourage visits.
Stay updated on food, beverage, and hospitality trends (especially NYC/Korean dining culture).
Coordinate with our internal team on promotions, menu updates, and events.
Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, sales impact) and provide weekly reports.

Requirements
At least 2 years experience managing social media for food, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
Strong portfolio of social media posts (especially food & beverage).
Proficiency with Canva (Photoshop/Illustrator is a big plus).
Comfortable creating both static and short-form video content.
Excellent written English; ability to craft captions that feel natural and engaging.
Knowledge of current TikTok/Instagram trends and how to adapt them for restaurant/bar marketing.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts at once.

Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with NYC or Korean food culture.
Experience running paid ads (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok).
Experience coordinating with influencers.

Work Setup
Remote, Philippines-based.
Full-time (40 hours/week).
Working hours flexible, but must be available for 2–3 overlap hours with EST (New York time) for meetings.

Compensation
Starting Salary: $800–1,200 USD/month (depending on experience).
Room for growth based on performance and client expansion.
